The fear of the Lord. As we begin a new series, I am praying that this series will be a great connector to my previous topic on maximizing time. In all honesty, if we were 100% obedient to God, fearing God above man, we would be great at maximizing time. All throughout the Word of God, He talks about the fear of the Lord. God is speaking directly to us. How would we ever know what God is saying to us if we never read His Word? Psalm 19:9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. The fear of the Lord is pure, which means we cannot fake it. It endures forever! God’s commands, rules, and regulations are sure and altogether righteous. The fear of the Lord is trust. If we cannot trust, then everything that God has set before us because uncertain and we do not think God is righteous.
