| Father, we pray that 2009 will be a great year. A year of miracles that will take place over the life of every youth. Father, we pray that youths would continue to strengthen their relationship and bonds with their siblings. It saddens my heart to see brothers and sisters unable to build their relationship because of small little fights, hurts, and impatience. The Lord Jesus Christ has given us the family that we have born into, it is time we take ownership of that. It is time we start declaring the promises God has given to every family, and stop the cursing. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Lee Shaun Tzen | Lord Jesus thank you for every marriage today. We pray that 2009 will be a fruitful and prosperous year for every single marriage and family. For those that had a gloomy 2008 we pray that they would find a sense of peace in their hearts that can only come from the Lord. Father, we pray that 2009 will be a year to remember. Because the Lord, is going to bless, strengthen, encourage, and push marriages to the next level. It is time we get serious with our marriage. It is time we start declaring the will of God and not our own agendas. God, let 2009 be more than what we could ever expect of our marriage. In your name we pray, amen. |

| Father, we thank you for these two nations. Lord, their history dates back to centuries. Lord we pray that the meaning of love your neighbors would become more real in 2009. As these nations sit on the brink of even more chaos, we pray that Lord Jesus Christ will be the fingerprint. Father, we pray for peace, but we know that there are things that are out of our control. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can redeem and set free. However, we continue to pray for these nations that the Lord’s blessings would become more real in this hour. Lord, you are so much in store for these two nations, we pray right now that unity and a common destiny would bond these nations together in the years to come. | You are made complete. Stop the inward focus and start praying blessings over the lives of others. As we usher in 2009, it seems as though 2008 came and went with a blink of an eye. I pray that this new year will be different from years past because God is reigning in every aspect of our lives. If God is always first in our lives, that sense of completeness will never waver or fade away. Whether or not we like our lives, we have been made complete. So if we have been made complete, this means that even people we don’t like have been made complete as well. Instead of cursing others, gossiping about others, and putting down others, let 2009 be a year of blessings. People may say bad things about us, drivers may cut us off on the road, but we will just bless. I pray that the world will be a different place, because we chose to bless instead of curse. | May the meaning of love be defined today in the hearts of every child. For those that have lost their parents, or have never known a parent, we pray right now that You would shake off the dust in their hearts that have caused mould and moss to grow. As hard as our hearts may be right now, we pray that the hand of God would bring every youth down on their knees. You O Lord, reign and rule. You O Lord, have a great plan for every child. If we are still unable to find confidence in our hearts that we have been made complete in Christ, then internally we are fighting a lot of issues that have not been dealt with. It may be things in the past, unresolved hurt, anger, unforgiveness, and uncertainty. Today’s words of encouragement are about developing a Christ like attitude. We must stop the me attitude and start proclaiming the promises. There is no point telling people that we have changed, that we have forgiven, that we have moved on, when clearly we have not. When we focus on ourselves and our issues more and more we begin to question, doubt, and turn away from God. There is no way to develop a Christ like attitude if we are always focused on ourselves. | Lord Jesus, we pray right now that every youth would turn their hearts towards You. We pray that they would stop fighting You. We pray for peace in their hearts. O Lord, where we have been complacent with teaching and nurturing our children we ask for forgiveness. Today, we pray that You would raise a generation of educators, teachers, and men/women who are strong in the Word. O Lord, this is the hour. We praise and honor You always. Father, help us recognize that Your ways are far greater than our own human understand and capabilities. Right now, we pray that You will use this nation to humble the greatest of nations. | You are made complete. Stop the complaining and start declaring the blessings. The encouragement today is to stop complaining about all the short falls, unfairness in life, and comparisons. We have been made exactly how God wants us to be. If we cannot accept ourselves for how our Potter made us, then we will never understand the meaning of being made complete in Christ. We are made complete in Christ. By human standards Christians are considered losers who cannot survive on their own that is why they need God. Let them judge, let them condemn, if we are completely secure in our relationship with God, we would realize that we don’t have to stoop down to their level. There is one who is above all as we already know. Do we really believe that we have been made complete in Christ? | Father, we pray for open hearts today. We pray that youths throughout the world would be ready, egger, hungry, and thirsty to find a personal relationship with Jesus. Father, we pray that the foolish things of this would fade away right now. Youths are hungry to be discipled. Yet, pop culture is doing that job. Today, we pray that You would shake the earth again. Shake the core of this world. Humble us today. Humble our pride, arrogance, and attitude. From the youngest to the oldest, it does not matter, we need to be humbled. | #86 O Lord Jesus, we pray for the nation of Lord we pray that healing and restoration can take place right now. Many are lost, alone, and children have lost their parents due to natural disasters. Father, we pray that these children will find good homes. We pray that foster parents would not abuse them, but instead they would ingrain in them a strong relationship with God. One day, these children will go back to their home land. They will be used as lighthouses to flood the world. They will be used. | You are made complete. We need to keep reminding ourselves that we have been made complete in God. Despite our flaws, imperfections, sins, and all the junk in us. God looks beyond the sins, and it is about time we do the same. Towards others and ourselves. Today’s topic is: Builders or demolishers. Let us not be so quick to judge. It is very easy to look at the flaws in people. Usually the first thing that we notice is the negative. Let us all develop a good habit of recognizing the gifts in people. We may not be able to stop the negative, because God has wired us that way. However, God has taught us to love our enemies. We have the ability to build people up and not down. Today, are we builders or demolishers? The talents and strengths, and develop these versus condemning them. | Father, as the sun rises and sets each day, it is by faith that we live knowing that it will rise again the very next day. O Lord, we pray right now that You would instill in every child a deeper meaning and understanding of what faith is. Lord, right now I sense the suffering and pain that the youth are facing right now. False expectations from their parents. The fear of failure. The loneliness in the midst of the chaos. Father, like we pray that You would send your thunder right now, to shake, to awaken, and force us into action. We need You and that is all we need. Father, it is our prayer today that marriages throughout the world would only grow stronger and stronger each year. Despite the wrinkles, flaws, our love is only going to grow stronger.
