Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 Dec 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray for our children right now. Some did extremely well in their exams while others might not have done so well. In this hour, we pray that every child right now would know that their worth is in You and no one else. They are not defined by grades, but they are defined by You. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would protect our children. Protect them for the world that tries to define them and who they are. Whatever our results were it does not define who we are and what we are going to do for God. You define our future and what we are going to do. Today, we pray that every child and parents would spend time praying and hearing You O Lord. For when we listen to You, our meaning in life becomes meaningful. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Holy God, we pray right now that You would set us free for all the chains that bind us. We pray for amazing breakthroughs to take place within every marriage. Where we have failed to say sorry, to forgive, to repent, to change-in the NAME OF JESUS WE BREAK THESE CHAINS. Today, we pray that every marriage would be defined by You O Lord. We pray that forgiveness, Lordship, and the act of apologizing would be core, the centre, and the heart beat of all marriages. Father, You are the rock and solid foundation of our marriage. In order for us not to allow a single ounce or any room for the devil to reign in our marriage, we need to forgive, let go, and say sorry. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Right now humble us all O Lord, teach us to obey You. Today we pray for all couples throughout the world, help us not to grow complacent and lazy in keeping our marriage active and alive. Father, I see many dead marriages right now, today we pray You would bring water to those dry bones. Father, speak to us in areas where we can grow and learn. We pray for teachable hearts. We pray against stubborn hearts, hearts unwilling to change. God wants us to change to be better husbands and wives. God wants us to see the richness of life through Him, yet many of us are missing all of it, because of our stubbornness. It is time to put an end to this. Shake us today. Shake every marriage so that the scales and the trash can fall today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

There are so many gifted and talented children who are rotting their lives away because of a lack of wisdom. Today, we pray that eyes would be opened. We pray right now that every child would make every effort to make sure that we are honouring and respecting our parents. Lord Jesus, if we do not heal and restore broken relationships, hurt, suffering, and pain, we will bring this on into the future, into our marriages, and we could even pass this on to our children. Today, we pray that we would choose to be set free from any hurt and broken relationships. We pray for mending. We pray for restoration. We pray for healing. Open the eyes of every heart right now. We pray, You would be our driving factor. For all our children who struggle with school and fail, we pray for Your loving hand of mercy to guide them. Lord, You have a plan for all of us. We are defined by You and not by grades. Help us to give our best. Help us to learn from our failures. We pray for Your protection.
