Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 Sep 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, protect our children right now. Sometimes it is easy for our children to get distracted from all the different things this world offers. The world is filled with a lot of trash and garbage and good things. Today, we pray our children will be able to see the blessings, be able to discern the trash, and begin to live the lives You have called them to live. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would protect our children and what they see and listen to. We pray for spiritual maturity to know how to throw out trash and retain the good things. Father, You are going to use our children to purify the internet and use it for Your glory and purpose. What we have failed to do, we repent and ask your forgiveness. Today, our children O Lord. Use them Father. Use them where we have failed. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Right now humble us all O Lord, teach us to obey You. Today we pray for all couples throughout the world, help us not to grow complacent and lazy in keeping our marriage active and alive. Father, I see many dead marriages right now, today we pray You would bring water to those dry bones. Father, speak to us in areas where we can grow and learn. We pray for teachable hearts. We pray against stubborn hearts, hearts unwilling to change. God wants us to change to be better husbands and wives. God wants us to see the richness of life through Him, yet many of us are missing all of it, because of our stubbornness. It is time to put an end to this. Shake us today. Shake every marriage so that the scales and the trash can fall today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Where we have neglected to teach and nurture our children forgive us Father. Today, we pray for change. We pray for a change in attitude and spirit. Help us light the way for our children. In the name of Jesus we command every evil spirit to leave and be removed from our homes and family. Lord, we pray You would set free the power of love. Help us to not take our marriage and family for granted. What You have bound together let man not separate. Today, we continue to stand with couples in prayer! God is our strength! Father, You are in control. We surrender all marriages to You today. Help us Father. Help us see our blind spots. Help us to remove our stubborn ways so that we can love more and more. Thank you for every marriage. We pray right now that You would be the guide, light, and comfort to every marriage. For many marriages I sense that 2008 was a tough year. But we focus our prayers for 2009 and praise that it will be a year of miracles. We pray that marriages would begin to praise and honour You Lord. Father, You are in control. We pray for our children and the importance in building strong values, character, and convictions. Today we focus our prayers on what it means to not compromise our stand. Lord, we seek for your discipline today. We pray that our children would not take their faith for granted. May You pour Your wisdom on them even at a young age, so they can distinguish what is from the Lord and what is not. Lord Jesus, we pray that You would give us faith to believe, trust, and God fearing character to never give up pray and believing for our children and the generations to come. Hearts willing to listen and accept wise counsel from You O Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray You would send angels to guard and protect every marriage. Even for couples that do not know You as their Lord and saviour. Today, we pray that many will come to know You through the pains of divorce. Lord we claim every life, every marriage, and every family Yours. In Jesus name, open our eyes, hearts, mind, soul, and senses. We need to be consumed by You in order to love our spouses. Lord, it disgusts me how many children and youth do not respect their parents and those who are older. It is time we discipline our children O Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that You would bestow on every parent, father, mother, the ability to correct our children. Lord, the longer we prolong discipline the hard it will be for our children in the future. It is time O Lord! It is time the next generation begin to change. Open their eyes!
