Prayers for the youth and marriages – 13 Nov 2008

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 13 Nov 2008

Father we pray for hope today. We pray that parents would be a source of strength for their children. When many look down on them, they may find God and draw on His strength because of great parents.

We pray for teachers right now that they would breathe life and hope into every child that they teach. Teachers have such a powerful job because they have the ability to bring to light, to equip and strengthen a child’s gift. Today, we pray that teachers would be a lighthouse to every child in the name of Jesus.

We pray for more youth mentors, those that have failed, suffered, been through the test of faith. We pray for more Godly mentors to encourage the youth, especially to those who are lost.

We pray for great friends right now. We pray for more Godly friendships to be birthed right now in the youth. We pray that children will not fight or get jealous about toys. However, we pray that they would cheer each other on to pursue their dreams. We pray that youths would help each other succeed and not pull each other down.

In your name a great miracle is going to take place. Amen.

Lord we pray for marriages right now. For every marriage that is lacking communication we pray for change and revelation to take place.

We pray that couples would not rely on their own strength to solve problems. We pray for wise and Godly counsel to be a source of strength. For every marriage counsellor we pray for Your hand of protection over their mouths. We pray that these counsellors would help draw couples towards You Lord and not further away from You.

Father, we pray that marriages would be grounded in worshiping your name. How amazing will it be the day when families and couples throughout the world are worshiping and praising the name of our Lord.

Right now Lord, help us be aware that our walk with You is beyond Sunday service. It is daily. For every couple that is in lack of Your right now Lord, we pray for greater strength, awareness, and may You be their all. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
