Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 17 Nov 2008

Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 17 Nov 2008

Bangladesh, India, Mexico, and Philippines

Father, today we lift up these four nations to you specifically. Today O Lord, we pray that Your hand of blessings and provisions would be poured upon these people throughout the World.

God, you have buried in these nations a strong gift of evangelism. Your sons and daughters have such a strong gift of adaptability. They are able to live in many nations that many cannot live in. However, the would condemns and judges them because of their education and type of careers they are in.

Today O Lord, we pray that You would bring restoration and healing upon your sons and daughters. Where we have robbed, judged, and condemned we ask for forgiveness. God humble the arrogant and proud.

Right now O Lord, we pray that people would respect people from these nations. They are gifted, talented, and are going to be used mightily to humble the arrogant and proud. God is in control. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father, Deut 15:11 says it so clearly that You command us to be openhanded toward our brothers and toward the poor and needy in our hand.

Where we have fallen short, forgive us. Where we have been selfish, arrogant, and prejudice, we seek your forgiveness.

Today O Lord, we pray that the world would look differently. Through this economic turmoil, we pray that transformation will take place in the years to come. Instead of people running and chasing after money, we pray for a different spirit. We pray that many will choose to love others before themselves.

Lord today, let selflessness be the foundation and pillar. In Jesus mighty name we pray for Your grace to lead and guide us.

Father, You are going to change this world and we thank you. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
