Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 22 Nov 2008 | |
Racism We pray for African continent In the name of Jesus we pray for complete healing from the past. The oppression of your sons and daughters dates back to centuries. However, today O Lord we pray for complete healing, forgiveness, and repentance. Lord it is time that Your children begin to walk in their blessings. The enemy has robbed and taken away what was rightfully theirs, and today O Lord, we pray that You would bring restoration. We pray that Your light would shine on this continent. We pray that You would use this continent to humble the many nations that abused and treated Your sons and daughters as slaves. In Jesus name we pray that this root of evil would be removed today. Amen. Acts 22:14, “The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from His mouth. You will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on His name.” © 2008 Shaun Lee | We declare the promises that You have for every person in poverty. Lord, today we pray that You would deliver and fulfill all that You have promised. However, the sad reality is that we choose to neglect and forget You Lord. Whether rich or poor, Father, we pray that we would run to You. We pray that we would fear You above all. Help us see and recognize the areas You are calling us to pray for, to bring aid, to help transform this nation. Father, help us be givers. Givers of our time, money, resources, and physical aid. There are many nations right now with millions who are starving to death. God almighty help us look beyond our self. Humble us today O God. Open our eyes today, and help us see what You see. In Jesus name we pray, amen. |
