Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 May 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray for our children. We pray for the ones that are being persecuted, judged, abused, and left alone. We pray for the ones that have lost their identity. Father, we pray right now that every child would recognise that You are our created. You are the Lord Jesus Christ who is the beginning and the end. There is no other. Your love for us in unfailing and You have a mighty plan for every child. Lord Jesus, we pray right now for every child, every teen who is lost. Who does not know why You have created them. We pray for every child that is thinking about killing themselves. O Lord, these children You love so much. Help us to hear their cries. Help us to be used right now. In Your name we pray for our children. Bring healing restoration and shower them will an awesome relationship with You. In You we pray, amen.

Father, we pray for every marriage right now. Help us Father, to build it on the right foundations and not on the weak foundations. Help us O God to see where we have taken things for granted and have become lazy. O Lord, we pray for healing to take place. May our marriage be based upon forgiveness and love. It is You O Lord who first loved us, help us not be so hard, unforgiving, and dark inside. We must let go, if not we will remain in the dark. Lord Jesus, we pray for a mighty move in the Holy Spirit right now to convict us of where we have gone wrong. Where we have destroyed or even harmed our marriage. Father, we pray for your power to heal and mend. We pray for Your mighty work to take place right now. O Lord, we pray for the breakthroughs. We pray all this in Your name. Amen.

Praying for the restoration of nations and for those in need ~ 1 May 2010 Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

O Lord, we pray against violence, abuse and the exploitation of women and children. Today, we pray that we would turn our eyes towards others and the things of this world which do not please You. The world continues to persecute and torture millions of people while we, children of God, stand and watch. Father, we thank you for the many who have been called into action. We pray for Your hands of favour and power upon them to transform this world for Your glory. Father, You O Lord are in control. Your ways are far higher than ours. Help us O Lord to continue to pray for the things in this world which You care about. O Lord, the world is Yours. We render the enemy powerless in Jesus name, amen.

We pray for every single person who lives without proper food and water. The Word of the Lord says, You are the bread of life and all who come to me will never go hungry. Today, we pray we would all turn to You. We pray we would help the helpless. Help them find the bread of life. In Your mighty hands and in your mighty power, is a Lord of love. Today, we pray for Your overwhelming love to consume our hearts. Fill our hearts with Your love so we can love too. In the name of Jesus we pray for evil hands to be removed. We pray for those who would stand in the gap so the poor will have a chance to see and walk into their destiny. Father every child rich or poor has this in common, You are our Father. No other God like our God-the meaning of love Romans 12:9-10 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves. There is absolutely no way to understand our Lord and His will for our lives if we are unable to know the meaning of love. No other is like our God. Many may try and atempt to define love and define the meaning of life, but all atempts will amount to nothing. Why? Because Love is defined by our Lord God and not man made. Today, the Lord is asking us this very important questions: Why is love so important? I pray we would be humble enough to ask the Lord. Without love we are nothing. Some people think they are always right and everyone has to listen to them. No matter how right we are, it does not matter. If we cannot love people the way our Lord loves us all, we would be the most ineffective for the Kingdom of God. There is no other God like our God. I pray we would remember this always. When our Lord reveals something to us, I pray we would walk in obedience and not dismiss what our Lord is trying to teach us. Right now I believe many of us will be convicted by our Lord to love others. Love our enemies, love those who persecute us, and love those who people neglect. It is time we get out of our comfort zone. Romans 12:20-21 If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you wil heap burning coals on his head. No other God like our God-HE will humble the wisdom of the world 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." The Lord our God is reminding us this very important fact: there is none like Him. Today, the Lord is touching on a very important subject which I pray we would not take lightly. He is going to use the weak things of this world to humble the strong. He is going to use the foolish things of this world to humble the wise. Why is God going to do this? So the world can see His power. Right now we may feel like the smallest people in the world and we are the most insignificant. No one wants to hear us, how in the world is God going to use us. I pray we would not give the enemy so much credit. There is no other God like our God. He is calling us out of our comfort zone. I pray we would be ready. What do we need to be ready with? Nothing but the Word of God and our relationship with God. He will use the foolish things of this world to humble the wise. Are we chasing after the wisdom of the world, worldly wealth, and fame? Reveal and open the eyes of the world to see the definer of righteousness and truth. There is no other. We give You the praise due. We remember the importance to pray for Kyrgyzstan. We pray that You O Lord would bind the hands of the enemy. We proclaim the will of the Lord today. You O Lord have power over the works of the enemy. Father we continue to keep China and all the other nations which were hit by earthquakes in prayer. We pray for Your blood O Lord to fall on the hearts of the broken. You O Lord are in control. No other God like our God There is no other God like our God. None compares to Him and none will ever come close. As we begin this new series, the Lord wants us to prepare our hearts for a mighty work ahead. Let us be reminded that nothing we do can ever be accomplished unless our relationship with God is firm and solid. The Lord our God is going to convict many of us right now. Convict us of our delay, our lack of consistency, and our inability to stay the course. I pray we would get excited about this new series. I believe many will find their destiny and calling in life through this series. Once we were lost, but now I am found! Some of us will be pushed by our Lord outside our comfort zone. Some will be called into immediate action. BUT all of us will be tested by our Lord. We may feel absolutely lost, have no idea how in the world we are ever going to accomplish the Lord's will over our lives-but this is where our Lord wants us to be so He can mould us and shape us. Today, let us surrender our lives to Him so we can be shaped by Him for His purposes. 1 Corinthians 1:26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 25 Apr 2010

One piece at a time-control that pride Each and every one of us has pride. Some more so than others, but then again who is the one measuring? Is it you or God? Even the most humble of us has pride. Today the Lord our God wants us to build our intimacy with Him by controlling our pride. With pride comes a great fall! Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. I pray we would understand and comprehend this key point: NOTHING WE DO CAN EVER EARN OUR WAY TO HEAVEN OR LOVE FROM GOD. Why is this relevant and important? Because, are we doing this right now to God? His love for us in unconditional not earned. Do we compare ourselves to other Christians? Do we compete and fight the wrong battles? I believe the church has veered off in a direction which could be potentially detrimental and dangerous. Has pride gotten in the way of the church? Has pride eaten away at the body of Christ? Why are pastors comparing themselves to others? ARE WE NOT ALL IN THE SAME BATTLE TOGETHER? It is time we tame our pride. I PRAY RIGHT NOW that our Lord would reveal to us exactly what we need to tame, so we can be effective in the Kingdom of God.
