Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 12 Nov 2008

We lift up the nation of Costa Rica right now O Lord. We thank you for everything that You have prepared for this nation in advance. Lord we pray for its people, may they find You, may they draw closer to you than before. As we pray right now we declare your will be done. Father, this nation is filled with Your beauty and creation. We pray right now that we would protect this. We pray that we would not abuse urbanization for economic growth. Help us value your creation right now O Lord. Father, we pray that you would use this nation like a lighthouse. As the world faces economic turmoil, we pray that You would lift up this nation. We pray for your blessings to be poured on this nation as more and more of Your children turn to You and give their lives to You. Lord we pray for a great miracle to take place for this nation right now. We pray that Your people would be blessed, and they would bless the world even more. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Father, we lift up the poor to You in prayer. Today we pray for strength, for perseverance, for grace, for mercy, and most of all for peace. Lord, we pray that restoration can take place in the lives of many broken hearted. In the name of Jesus we pray for miracles to take place for the lives of the poor. We pray for great testimonies. We pray against illnesses right now. We pray against evil men who exploit the poor. Right now we pray that righteousness would be established. We pray that Your loving hand of justice would remove all injustice. In your power, in your glory and fame, we pray that the poor would know who You are in a real and powerful way. The rich may have their wealth to provide them security, but right now we pray that the Lord Jesus Christ would be their gift. Right now we pray that the poor would have the closest relationship to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Proverbs 28:27 He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.
