Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 Feb 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray for every single child who has been abused, who has been abandoned, who has been left orphaned, who have lost parents unexpectedly. THE LORD LOVES YOU, THE LORD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU, BEFORE YOU WERE EVEN BORN HE MADE YOU FOR A REASON. Father, we pray today that restoration of hearts can take place. Each one of your amazing children and youth have been made by You and they are going to do amazing things for Your kingdom. Today, we declare the will of the Lord over every single child. We pray for all of Your precious children who have been born in the comfort of life, born will worldly wisdom, born with wealth-today is your day to shine for the Lord. Use all that God has given to you to bless those who are in need. Bless those who God loves so much. Today, the world is going to look different because of our children. Because our children love You more! In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus we pray that couples would never take their marriage for granted. While thousands long for marriage, long for love, it is so easy to take what God has given to us for granted. Today, it is time to thank the Lord for everything He has given to us, even when it seems so hard to thank Him. Lord Jesus we pray for change, we pray for breakthroughs today. It starts by simply thanking God for everything. From the little things to the big things. Watch and see God transform our marriages just by doing this. It is easy to hate. But love covers all wrongs. It is easy to hate, but remember the world hated our Lord first. It is easy to hate, but remember our Lord counts hate equal to murder. O Lord, we pray for testimonies right now. We pray for the most difficult of marriages. We pray for those who are lacking faith and trust. WATCH AND SEE OUR LORD DO THE AMAZING BECAUSE HE IS GOD!!! Father the issues in Haiti are real and every second counts. We pray that our prayers would not go to waste. We pray for hearts to be opened, minds to be clear, and souls to beat to the rhythm to our Fathers. Lord Jesus, through the shaking and the earthquakes the Truth shall be preached. We cannot hide or push aside our Lord Jesus Christ who loves! We pray for Your hands of protection. We pray You would push us into action to care for those who are being abused. Lord it break Your heart to the core to see people abusing little children, kidnapping them, and sold for sex. God break our hearts right now. Break everything in us so we can hear You, so we can pray for Your will to be done and not ours. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord Father, there are millions who are in need. Millions of stories of abuse, go hidden. Father, You see everything. You know, You hear, and You see. The Lord our God is calling us, seeing who will stand in the gap. This is not a game, and many of us take life like a game. Millions are dying, millions of children and women are being raped because of natural disasters. O Lord, help us to care. Help us to not only pray but to take action. In the name of Jesus we pray that righteousness would be established. We pray that You would bind every evil spirit. We pray that You would bind the work of the enemy. We pray for forgiveness, we pray for restoration, we pray for millions to rise and take action today. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord Jesus we pray right now that You would shake the hearts of many youth right now. Help them see and recognise that life is more than just exams, studies, dating, who likes who, money, clothes, and things. Father, we pray that every youth right now will open their eyes and see. Death can come at an hour unknown. Just as it has happened in many nations recently. Father, today may our children begin to see how important it is to get serious and right with You O lord. It saddens my heart when our children do not take worship seriously with You. It saddens me when they cannot pray. In the name of Jesus we pray for Your Lord to shine down from heaven. Lord Jesus, we pray right now for every marriage. We pray for every couple that have recently lost a loved one either through illness, old age, natural disasters, and other means. Father, we pray for the broken hearted. Some of these marriages were beautiful in the eyes of our Lord. Marriages that were made one by You. Lord Jesus we pray that Your name would be praised and worshiped even in the darkest hours. You have the power to heal and take away. No matter what Lord we place our trust in You. Desire to be shepherd-serving with joy I hope we will always remain sheep for the rest of our lives. Following God and those He has called to shepherd us is part of life even when we know we are leaders deep inside. Though we follow, at some point God will call us to step out and serve. This is the test of true character. There are many who want to be shepherds but they are unwilling to be followers. Let us be followers of Christ till the end. Serving is one of the hardest things to master. It is difficult because we could be doing it for selfish reasons. I pray we would come to a point in our lives where we will serve without expecting anything back in return. We serve because we are obedient, we listen to one voice, and we don't serve because we want the praises of man or the glory nor the fame. Serving comes in all different forms and ways. WE NEED TO BE ATTENTIVE TO GOD. We could be asked by God to serve in secret. We could be asked by God to do random things, but they all serve one purpose. What is our attitude like when we are asked to serve? What is our character like at the moment of surprise? Father, we pray that You would anoint our children with gifts and talents used for Your purpose and not used for foolish reasons. There are so many gifted and talented children who are rotting their lives away because of a lack of wisdom. Today, we pray that eyes would be opened. We pray right now that every child would make every effort to make sure that we are honouring and respecting our parents. Lord Jesus, if we do not heal and restore broken relationships, hurt, suffering, and pain, we will bring this on into the future, into our marriages, and we could even pass this on to our children. Today, we pray that we would choose to be set free from any hurt and broken relationships. We pray for mending. We pray for restoration. We pray for healing. Open the eyes of every heart right now. As we continue to pray for marriages, we pray that every couple would recognise the importance in healing their past. Any unresolved issues, unforgiveness, hurt, bitterness, and issues from the past will be past on into your marriage and to our children if we do not ask the Lord to heal and to forgive. Today, is the day the Lord says! The Lord wants us to deal with what needs dealing with. If we are trying to move on our own way, we will fail. Today, let us do things the way God wants. Father, give us the strength. Give us the courage and boldness to face our past so that we can walk forward anew. There are too many broken relationships.
