Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 Oct 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we thank you for every child, every teenage, and young adult. We pray that You would bless them today. We pray that You would comfort those that feel alone, lost, and empty. We pray that Your grace would cover every child right now, as many prepare for their exams, as many are suffering because of poverty. In the name of Jesus we pray that the church would rise up. We are the body of Christ, and in this desperate hour, we pray we would be used. We pray we would be unsettled in our hearts if we do not do something to help. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Psalm 104:31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works. Father, we pray right now for every parent, especially families who have suffered through the recent natural disasters. In the name of Jesus we pray that Your loving and righteous hand would comfort those who need You most. We pray for couples right now throughout the world. While the world is facing these natural earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons, we pray that eyes would be opened. What we take for granted, is love, is life itself, and to some even our own marriage. Today, we pray that couples would wake up. We pray that couples would begin to re-establish their love for one-another. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

God thank you for the youth, each one of them. God you have a mighty destiny for each child. We pray right now for every youth. Give them a sense of purpose and meaning in life. Father, as we look around, we see many youths aimless, lifeless, and empty in the inside. We pray for life today. We pray that You would be the fire that burns in every heart. Father, open the eyes of every child. Help them find their destiny today. If they are hungry for you, in the name of Jesus bring clarity in their lives. God you are King over all the earth. Lord almighty, we thank you and praise you for all that you are doing in the lives of each married couple. Today, we focus our prayers on abuse. All across the globe we will be able to find many women abused by husbands. Today, we pray that You would judge every man that hits, use their mouths to speak down upon their wives and children. O Lord, we pray that these men would be brought to justice today. You O Lord are our judge. The saddest part in all abuse; these men do not know how much destruction they are causing to the lives of their children and generations to come. Today, we pray for breakthrough. We thank You O Lord for the power of prayer. We pray that through our prayers, millions of children all over the world will be touched, transformed, and blessed. Father, our prayers alone are useless. It is only You and You alone that can do the impossible. O Lord, we pray that our children would grow deeper today. May their foundations be shaken because of You. Many children O Lord are lost and do not know why there were created. They need You Father. They need You more and more. In Your mercy and grace, help us Father. Help us to teach and set an example to our children. Today, we pray that our children would grow deeper in the Word of God. We know this because of the Word of God. There is no temptation too much for us to handle. We pray for grace. We pray that husbands and wives would learn how to pour more grace upon their marriage. We pray that parents and children would learn to pour more grace upon one another. We live in a world that is already against us, why do we want to be against our own family? Just as our Lord Jesus Christ has gives us grace for all our sins, we must show love towards one another through grace. Father, we do not close our eyes. We do not slack-off. We take ownership and responsibility of our marriage and families. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

May their foundations be shaken because of You. Many children O Lord are lost and do not know why there were created. They need You Father. They need You more and more. Lord Jesus, thank you so much for each and every precious child You have brought into this world. Father, we pray for every starving child. Every abused child. Every child that lives the next day not knowing whether or not they will be able to take another breath. Lord Jesus as we eat every meal, as we drink, shower with clean water, as we sleep in air-conditioning, as we use resources that millions do not have, help us to PRAY, TO WAKE-UP, AND TO TAKE ACTION. Father, we cry out to You. Help us Father. As we pray, help us turn our prayers into action. Help us not to forget what goes on in this world. Today, we pray for miracles to take place. We pray You would use these children, bless these children, anoint these children to humble the greatest and richest of all. In Jesus name we pray, amen. � 2009 Shaun Lee

Miracles unheard of will happen. Breakthroughs are going to take place in this hour. Help us recognise Your fingerprint in every situation we are in O Lord. Lord Jesus, we pray for every couple that have seen and tasted the breakthroughs. May they stand up and rejoice in the Lord. May they stand proclaiming the name of the Lord. Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 19 Sep 2009

Using my gifts to the fullest 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. God has wired each one of us in a unique and special way. Even the smallest things in our lives may be used by God in such a powerful way. However, do we not recognise it because we are too focused on the big things, the fame, and the fortune? The big dreams and wishes? As we begin this new series on identifying our gifts, I pray we would begin to accept people the way God has made them, and begin to accept ourselves as well for how God has made us. No one is perfect. Even our flaws and imperfections can be used by God. I pray we would spend some time right now writing down a list of gifts that you have. First, a list of good things. Things that make you proud and happy. Then make a second list of all your flaws and the things that you wish God could have made better. Now pray for each gift and each flaw. Pray that God can use them to bless this world. Pray that God would open our eyes to see how our gifts can be put to full use and not gone to waste. Throughout this world, with the 6.7 billion people each one of us has been made by God. God has given to us different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit. Our gifts are used for different kinds of service, but the same Lord. Lord Jesus, thank you so much for each and every precious child You have brought into this world. Lord each one has been made, moulded, and created by You for a purpose and a reason. Today, we pray that we would be used by You to encourage them. We pray right now that You would soften the hearts of every youth, from different lands. We claim their lives precious and perfect in the eyes of the Lord. Father, we pray for every child that knows You. Lord, we pray that they would not hold back anymore. We pray against the fear of man. We pray against the timid spirit. We pray for many youths to stand up boldly proclaiming the name of the Lord in places of darkness. Father, many are the salt and the light of the world. However, they do not know it. Today, we pray for our children.
