Prayers for the youth and marriages – 24 Nov 2008

Amos 5:15 Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. Father, we pray that every child born today, every youth, every adolescent, and ever teenager entering adulthood would walk with the fear of the Lord always. We pray that we would hate evil. Help us to hate evil, hate our sins with a passion, because we are full of passion for what is of You. Father, help us to love what is good. Good can only be defined by You Lord. Help us to recognize what is bad. Help us to minimize what is bad, what is evil, and what is not of You. God today, we pray for transformed lives right now that will walk always hating evil and loving what is good. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Amos 5:22 Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. Today O Lord, help every marriage. Help us see and recognize that nothing in our own power, strength, and abilities will be accepted by our God. We pray for generations of Godly marriages to take place in the years to come. We pray for couples who will run after, chase after, the plans of God versus the plans of man that lead to false gain and temporal satisfaction. Father, your presence in me, in us, in every marriage is all that sustains. Today O Lord, we pray for authentic marriages. Marriages that will not fake love and fake loving you. Examine our hearts today, help us Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
