Praying For The Nations 6 Nov 2008. Special Edition-Economic crisis

Father today we pray for every nation affected by the current economic turmoil. Father, we pray that this ordeal will teach us all a lesson. Teach us O Lord. Humble us Lord. Help us understand what greed can do to the world. Father, there is a great divide between the rich and poor. It saddens me to see the rich creating, manipulating the economy so that they can get richer from the poor. O Lord, we pray that your righteous hand would judge this. We pray that you would bless and shower your love on every person in poverty. Lord, we pray that our prayers would be heard, but most of all Your will be magnified and done. Not ours. Father, as nations continue to suffer through this crisis, we pray that your sons and daughters, those that you call by name would rise up. We pray that we would establish your name as the solid foundation in our governments, our laws, our structure in society, and most of all in our economy. Father humble the proud, the wealthy, and those that exploit the poor. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
