Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 23 Nov 2008

Maximize your time on earth. Jesus did and He only lived for 33yrs. As I begin my new series on maximizing time, I believe that God is challenging us to stop wasting time, stop taking things for granted, and stop whining. Jesus had no time to waste, He didn’t take His work for granted, and He never whined about suffering on the cross for us. People who are God centered and God driven cannot be bothered will the little petty things. There are bigger issues in life to deal with than that. Time is of value, every second counts, more importantly no stone is left unturned. It seems to me that people who are driven to fulfill the work of the Lord are running on high octane, while others are runny on lower and not as pure octane. Maximizing our time on earth is essential. We may be in our 20s, 30s, 60s, or 70s. It is time we number our days and ask God if we have accomplished all of His plans. If not, we better start asking God what He wants us to do next. Standing firm to not waver and turn back.
