Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 1 Apr 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Lord Jesus we thank you for every child. We pray for Godly wisdom and truth to be ingrained in their hearts, souls and minds. We pray for the Word of God to be so real in their lives. Living and guiding them. Lord Jesus, we pray that Your blood would cover us all. Bind the works of the enemy which totally robs, kills and destroys destinies. It is Your blood that gives us life. We pray for amazing testimonies to be heard throughout the world. The world is going to know Your name. The world is going to know we are nothing without You. In the name of Jesus, we pray for Your light to shine and never stop shining. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Break every foundation right now O Lord, so we can be firmly planted in the Word of God. Lord You search through every marriage finding every gap and leaky hole. We pray we would seal these gaps and holes with the Word of God, with the love of God, and with the Hand of God upon our marriage. In this hour, we are constantly reminded and in pray that marriages throughout the world would be strengthened and built on Your solid foundation. Help us O Lord and give us the strength to not give up. Amen.

Praying for the restoration of nations and for those in need ~ 1 Apr 2010 Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Lord Jesus we pray for the nations of the world. We pray for the forgotten ones today, the ones where people often write them off. We pray that You would use the weakest nations in this world to humble the mightiest and most powerful. We pray for those with hearts of compassion. Use Your children to bring transformation. We pray for open doors today and for the gates of heaven to be opened. We pray we would be at the centre of every critical change in society. While the world fights for the wrong things, we pray we would re-establish what is important in life. Life has to be more than money and power. It is time we re-evaluate our lives. In your mighty name and power, we pray for Your light to shine upon the earth in its darkest hours. O Lord, we need You always. In Your name we pray, amen.

We pray for every single person who lives without proper food and water. The Word of the Lord says, You are the bread of life and all who come to me will never go hungry. Today, we pray we would all turn to You. We pray we would help the helpless. Help them find the bread of life. In Your mighty hands and in your mighty power, is a Lord of love. Today, we pray for Your overwhelming love to consume our hearts. Fill our hearts with Your love so we can love too. In the name of Jesus we pray for evil hands to be removed. We pray for those who would stand in the gap so the poor will have a chance to see and walk into their destiny. Father every child rich or poor has this in common, You are our Father. Lord we are constantly reminded of what is happening throughout Asia. We pray for corruption to be completely eradicated. We pray that the exploitation of women and children would be completely stopped in our lifetime and in this generation. We humbly seek You O Lord. We pray that You would give us the grace and mercy to pray exactly what needs to be done to reshape and restore the many nations throughout the world. We pray for the power of the Lord to fall upon Your righteous sons and daughters who have the ability to stop what is evil in Your sight. O Lord, give us the heart. O Lord, give us the desire. O Lord, help us to turn our prayers into action. By the power of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray for Your will to be done today and forevermore. Amen.

O Lord we pray for every single person who is starving to death because of the lack of food and water. We pray for the blood of Jesus to fall upon Your children. In the name of Jesus we pray for miracles to take place so thousands upon thousand would know the name of the Lord and worship You. It is easy to ignore and forget. It is easy to get distracted. However, we pray right now for millions of Christians around the world to rally, to pray like never before for those who are in need. The Lord is calling us to stand in the gap. One piece at a time-a child Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. In order for us to build an intimate relationship with God, it requires a heart and willingness to come before the Lord as a child. Today, our Father is reminding us and encouraging us to come before Him as a child. No matter how old we may be, no matter how wise we may think we are, it is time to be a child in the presence of our Lord. Are we that wise "know it all" Christian? It is time we humble ourselves before Him. Be that child, that child of God. Matthew 18:3 And He said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. In our busy lives, it is very easy to neglect building an intimate relationship with God. There are so many distractions in life. Furthermore, the enemy will do whatever it takes to stop us. It is time we change and become like little children, otherwise we will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Is life filled with many goals and desires? Have our lives come to a point where we can afford to neglect our intimacy with our Father, because we want our dreams more than we do God? Is it not our Father who gives us our dreams and desires? O Lord, we pray against the abuse of young children. Throughout the world millions of children are being sold for prostitution and this has got to end. O Lord, help us to have hearts that care. Break our hearts right now when young children are being raped. O Lord, we are not shaken and we will not move. We will continue to persevere and pray to see every child protected against this. O Lord we pray right now for Your sons and daughters, who have been abused, sold into these evil businesses. We pray for Your hand of restoration to take place. God almighty, we pray for Your miraculous power to be revealed in the lives of Your children who are helpless. God almighty You O Lord reign and rule. Amen.

We pray for every marriage right now. O Lord, we pray that every marriage would be founded and built upon the Lord and nothing else. We pray for the Love of the Lord to be the firm and solid foundation. Where couples have lusted for someone other than the person You have given to us, this must be put to an end. O Lord, help us to love as You first loved us. God almighty we pray for Your hands of protection over your precious children who have built families. Help us to instil strong foundations so we will never waver. Help us to be homeward in our orientation. Build Your families today O Lord. It is You O Lord who strengthens us. Amen.

Lord we are constantly reminded of what is happening throughout the Middle East and in Africa. However, these are not the only nations which are going through political shaking and violence. Today, we take this time to pray fervently that the arms of the Lord would never be too short to save nor His ears too dull to hear. We humbly seek You O Lord. We pray that You would give us the grace and mercy to pray exactly what needs to be done to reshape and restore the many nations throughout the world. We pray for the power of the Lord to fall upon Your righteous sons and daughters who will be used mightily to reshape this world. We pray for boldness and courage. Today, we face all our fears, we face our enemies, and we say, IN THE NAME OF JESUS WE DECLARE YOUR WILL BE DONE! Amen.

Lord almighty we pray for every dying person, every sick person, every person who cannot afford proper medical treatment. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would comfort and touch every life. May Your healing hands heal those You chose to forgive O Lord. We pray for those who cannot afford to pay for their bills. We pray for those who are in financial debt. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would cover every family and home with Your love so that we would never resort to measures which would sell our children into prostitution. O Lord, protect every family right now. We pray for those who are starving to death right now. We pray that we would not hoard our wealth till we go to the grave. It is time we bless others with water and food. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 27 Mar 2010

One piece at a time-made in His image It takes one piece at a time to build an intimate relationship with God. Today, our Lord wants to remind us that we have been made in His image. We must never take this lightly. Out of all the things created in this world-we, humans, have been made in His own image. I pray we would never take this lightly and yet we often do. Jesus Christ bought us at a price, we never had to pay to be made in His own image. Despite all our Father has done for us, the world treats one person less than another. I pray we would build our relationship with God today. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Do we thank God everyday? Do we even bother thanking God for our existence? I wonder how many of us live this Christian walk telling God what He should do, because He owes us. He owes us? He owes us for what? Just because we gave our lives to Him? I pray we would relook at our hearts and see deep within. We cannot fake intimacy with our Lord. It allows us to thank God for the smallest things in life. O Lord, we pray for our children today. Give them the determination and perseverance to fight every battle. Some of our children are faced with real tough battles right now. We pray that You would remind our children that they are never alone in their battles. We pray for those who have chosen to give up even before they have entered any battle. We pray that You would shake their foundations and allow them to see the importance in fighting for the right battles in life. O Lord, where we have fallen short and given up on our youth, we seek Your forgiveness. We pray that Your undying love would cover our children. Amen.

We pray for every marriage right now. We pray for Your hands of protection over every couple. We pray for perseverance and deep rooted convictions to be ingrained in every soul. What the Lord has brought together, let us pray that no man would ever separate this. We pray for our children today O Lord. We pray for hearts to be broken. We pray for spirits to be humbled, bowed to One, and souls utterly surrendered to You O Lord. We seek You O Lord. We pray that our youth would learn to respect authority and those who are older then them. Father, it is through this we will be restored. It is through respecting those who are older, where we can be moulded and used by You. O Lord, we cry out on behalf of our children. We seek You O Lord, to give us the wisdom and guidance. Many take their lives for granted. Many are selfish. O Lord, break our hearts today so we can be moulded by You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Guide every marriage today O Lord. Teach us how to love when we are not loved back. Teach us to forgive when we give selflessly. Teach us how to care when many choose not to. We pray that our homes would be defined by You. We pray that You would be our solid rock and foundation. O Lord, we pray for Your name to be exalted and praised everyday. We pray for Your light to shine upon the earth. We pray for Your name to be exalted upon the earth. In the name of Jesus guide us through the toughest hours. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
