Prayers for the youth and marriages – 22 Nov 2008

Father today we pray that You would instill in each of us a spirit of discipline. Help us recognize the consequences of complacency. Help us recognize the consequences of being lazy. The choices we make today affect tomorrow whether good or bad. In the name of Jesus we pray for generations of youths that will walk with discipline. Discipline to study hard, to work hard, but most of all discipline to faithfully depend on You and not on their own strength. Jesus, You are going to test each one of us. How will we respond? How will we answer in the time of trials? Today, help us prepare for the day of battle. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Trust. Today O Lord we pray for every marriage. Help us Lord to trust You. Help us to build our faith and hope that is in You and only You. God as the world economy tumbles, we pray that marriages would only strengthen. We pray that marriages would depend on You Lord and not on money. In the name of Jesus we pray for every marriage right now that is being pushed to the brink of complete lost. God we pray that the name of Jesus would reign higher than anything in this World. In trouble, in need, in desperation, the Lord is our strength. Help us place our trust in You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
