Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 13 Nov 2008

Through you they shall know that I am the Lord. As I begin this new series, I know for a fact that God is going to speak directly to us, He is going to bless us for obeying, and He is going to reveal what He wants us to do. Why am I so confident about this? Because countless times the Word of God says, through you they shall know that I am the Lord. If we cannot hear God say this we need to change our daily habits. Thirty five times God says, You shall know that I am the Lord in the New King James Version. Forty five times God says, You will know that I am the Lord in the New International Version. The point here is not for us to search each word and find the right meaning. The point here is that God used normal, ordinary, unschooled, untrained men and women, to fulfill HIS WILL. From the old testament, to the new testament, and even today, God's word stays the same. People will know that I am the Lord through you. Today, I am filled with so much encouragement because of this new series which is going to ignite a fire throughout the world. Do you feel weak? Do you feel small? Do you feel inadequate? God used the outcast in society to collapse the pride of man. Watch God use you, are you ready for it? Exodus 7:17 (NKJV) Thus says the Lord: By this you shall know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood. This was Moses who said that.
