Prayers for the youth and marriages – 25 Nov 2008

Proverbs 23:17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. We lift up every child into your hands today Father. We pray that by your unfailing love, youths throughout the world will recognize and distinguish what true love is. There is a clear distinction between love from the Lord and human standards of love. It is easy to envy sinners and material gain. However, the love of the Lord is absolute, eternal, and endless. Today O Lord, we pray for generations of youths that will be zealous for the fear of the Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray for righteous boys and girls to rise that will challenge the modern world. You are going to use them in powerful ways, and we pray that they will not wait any longer. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. In the name of Jesus we pray that every man and woman who is living in darkness right now because of their sin, will recognize and realize that nothing goes hidden from our Lord. The exposure of our sins because of the light sets us free, and gives us peace. Peace can only be attained from our Lord. It is evident Lord, that without you we live in constant distress, unrest, and we have no clue what the peace of the Lord feels like. How sad! Today O Lord, we pray that couples will not live hiding their sins from each other. Instead, we pray that couples will always walk with the fear of the Lord. Where there is light, there is peace. Today, we claim peace over every marriage. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
