Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 26 Nov 2008

#59 Djibouti Father we thank you for the nation of Djibouti. We pray that this nation will continue to walk in peace and harmony. Harmony with its own people as well as with its neighbors. In the name of Jesus, we pray right now that peace will be established with Somalia. Father, it is evident and clear that you are going to use these two nations tremendously and uniquely to make a huge impact for Your Kingdom. Today, we pray that Your sons and daughters would rise up in prayer all over the world. We pray in unison that You O Lord will bless and protect the nation of Djibouti. We pray that the fear of the Lord would be established and be the foundation of this nation. Lord God, may your mighty hand never fail to be upon this nation. In your name we pray, amen. Psalm 33:11-12 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. 1 Samuel 2:8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; upon them he has set the world. Today Father, we pray and claim this verse for every poor and needy person. We pray right now that no matter how difficult their life may be they will inherit a throne of honor. Father, we pray that many will rest on You, and most of all that many will find You. O Lord, Your ways and plans are far higher than ours. But we pray today that we will be used by You, effectively to help the poor. May our hands never be too short to help. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
