Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 20 Mar 2009

Firm and solid foundations – the Lord’s voice Psalm 29:3-9 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars...The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lighting. The voice of the Lord shakes the desert…The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forest bare. And in His temple all cry, “glory!” Our relationship with God. If we are continually working on our relationship with God we would be able to distinguish the difference between following your own heart, and doing things God’s way. Solid foundations are based on three principles focused on one. We read His Word to know His will, we pray because that is how we communicate with Him, and we worship God because all glory is His. How do we know if we are hearing God’s voice and not our own? Everyday is a test. God is clear, He does not bring confusion. Every decision we make, it is up to us to fully obey God. Obedience is key. Look around and we will be able to see clearly who are fully obedient to God and who aren’t. We do not judge and condemn, but it is the fruit we produce that clearly shows obedience. I pray that we would choose to do things God’s way. To hear His voice daily, is worth more than life it self.
