Prayers for the youth and marriages – 6 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Father, we thank you for every youth and every life right now. Thank you O Lord for giving us the ability to pray for these Your children. Father, we recognise the value and importance in discipling our youth. Today, we pray that You would humble every mentor. Give us the ability to speak life, to bless, to correct, and to discipline Your children. However, we pray that mentors would not impose, we would not play “god”. Father, Your voice needs to be the loudest. Your will be done and not ours. We need to obey. Help us to encourage, to bless, and to not get jealous. May our children’s futures be greater than ours O Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, we pray for every marriage today. We pray that our prayers and fasting week has been fruitful, powerful, and we have begun to see why You have brought marriages together. Lord, we pray that couples would begin to recognize and see Your destiny and purpose. Father, we pray that couples would be used by You to make a difference in this world. We pray that couples would raise godly children. We thank you for giving couples the responsibility to parent these precious children of Yours. Father, we pray that through families this world will change. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that every marriage would be strengthened by You. Amen.
