Praying For Singapore and Principe and for the poor – 28 Mar 2009 1 Samuel 2:8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; upon them He has set the world.

Father, we thank you for the nation of Singapore. Thank you for the leaders that You have raised, placed in authority, and used to make an impact in this nation. We pray for the Lord’s favour today. We pray that You would use this tiny island-nation to set an example to the world. We pray that nations would be blessed by Singapore. We pray that the Lord’s glory and name would be praised and spread throughout the earth. We pray that Singapore will be used to bless other nations. We pray that You would lay down solid foundations in the hearts of your sons and daughters. We pray that You would teach us humility. Many have taken You for granted. We pray against selfish ambition, materialism, and immoral values. Lord today, You set the foundations. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, thank you for the poor, the needy, the starving, and those that have lost their homes. We pray specifically for Your children that are suffering. Living in unhealthy conditions and spreading viruses. Today, we pray that You would raise up generations of missionaries that are bold and courageous. We pray that they would not fear the work of the enemy, because the battle has already been won. Father, many children are suffering, many people are in desperate need, and yet we do nothing. Today, we pray that You would challenge the world to bind together to unite, and make a difference. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
