Absolutely non-negotiable – satisfaction in life Satisfaction in life can only be achieved with complete and utter surrender to God and this is an absolute non-negotiable. What are the things in your life that you need to surrender to God? (1) As a start, are we always comparing our lives with others? We feel that God has blessed everyone one in this world except me. (2) Are we always complaining? The complaining spirit is like a leech that drains the life out of a person. We are so immune to it that we don’t even recognise our complaining spirit. (3) Sin, temptation, and the works. We don’t need any explanation of this. God is clear, if we can’t surrender our lives to God because of sin issues, then we really don’t know God. From the smallest things in life to the biggest things. It is vital that we recognise the areas in our lives that we have the inability to surrender to God. At first it starts as a small thing, but if we are not attentive and aware, these small things turn into big things. Unforgiveness is the greatest example of this. Unresolved issues from the past needs to be surrendered to God. We keep hurt inside, but as years and years go on, of unresolved issues they are like leeches that suck everything that is pure in life, and all we see is the nasty side to life. Can we see God in the midst of the darkness? I hope your answer is yes.
