Prayers for the youth and marriages – 28 Mar 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father, thank you for the youth of this world. Thank you for the youth that know You Lord as their Lord and saviour. We pray that You would reign and rule over their lives. We pray that they would be humble servants. We pray that they would walk continuously with You. Father, we pray right now that You would lay solid foundations in their hearts. We pray that they would have unwavering convictions. We pray that they would choose You, choose Your ways over worldly possession and gain. We pray right now that You would raise up generations of great men and women who will teach the world what it means to be a son and daughter of our Lord. We pray for every marriage right now. Thank you Lord for the grace and mercy that You have given to us. We pray specifically for every strong marriage right now that is grounded and based on Your Holy name. We pray that You would use these marriages as examples. We pray that You would bless these marriages with children. As they raise up children, we pray that they too will be grounded and set solid foundations based on the Word of God. Father, we cannot take life for granted. We cannot take you for granted. Today, we pray that our eyes would be opened. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
