Praying for Seychelles and for the poor – 26 Mar 2009 1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory is His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Father, we pray for the nation of Seychelles. Thank you for protecting this nation. Thank you for using this nation. We pray right now that You would continue to bless this island and its natural beauty. We pray that people all over the world would be touched and impacted by You through this nation. Lord, we pray that You would protect this island from over development, from destroying its natural beauty. We pray that You would continue to bless this nation. Open the eyes of Your children that they may begin to see the things that they take for granted. Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You. Amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

We pray for the poor right now. Use them Lord to humble the rich and powerful. I am reminded of the story of Lazarus and the rich man. We pray that the rich people would recognize the importance in blessing and providing for the poor. We pray that You would humble the rich today. Allow them to see the abuse that goes on. Allow us to see how we can be of use and help. Lord, we pray that we would take ownership of the lives that You have given us. We have the ability to make a difference. Today, we pray that we would not wait any longer. Amen.
