Praying for Senegal and for the poor – 24 Mar 2009 1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory is His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Dear Lord Jesus, we pray for the nation of Senegal today. Thank you Lord for every single life, person, and family. Father, this nation has come a very long way from a decade ago. Today, we focus our prayers on families Lord. We pray that marriages would be solid and children will be raised by parents who are grounded in the Word of God. Father the future of Senegal will not be based on economics, but it will be founded on the nations values, and what is in the heart of man. Today, we pray that the Word of God will be established in this nation. We pray that the Word of God would be in the hearts of every man. You are the Lord of all and we thank You for all the blessings that You are going to pour on this nation as it strives to develop based on Your godly principles. Father, we pray right now for the poor. Lord, we pray that You would bless them, protect them, and use them for Your glory and purpose. Father, we pray that the rich, the wise, and those in areas of influence would be humbled today by the poor and needy. Father, we pray right now that Your voice would speak the loudest in nations where poverty is rampant. Lord Jesus we pray that You would touch our hearts. We pray that a strong sense of responsibility would engulf our hearts and souls. To make a difference, to change this world, to bless the poor. Father, we pray that before You come back, we would be examples of Christ. Help us today. Give us the grace and ability to help the less fortunate. Amen.
