Praying For San Marino and for the poor – 21 Mar 2009 1 Samuel 2:8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; upon them He has set the world.

Father, we pray for the nation of San Marino and its people. Father, we pray that You would be the guiding light and the source of refuge and strength. As this nation continues to develop and mature, we pray that Your sons and daughters would not neglect their relationship with You. Father, this nation is filled with a lot of history and culture. Its roots and foundations are based on godly principles. However, many of these foundations have been weakened and destroyed. Today, we pray that restoration can take place. We pray that You would use San Marino to bless the nation of Italy. We pray that You would use the small things in life to humble the bigger things. Lord, we pray for the poor and needy today. We pray that You would bring warm and security. Protect Your children right now O Lord. We pray that You would shelter those that need protection. Father, we pray that we would change our ways, our lifestyle, and our selfishness. Help us to devote seasons and our precious time to pray, to help, to feed, and to encourage those in need. Father, open our eyes today that we may see. Open our hearts today so that we may pray. Lord, we thank you for all that will take place in this lifetime. We pray that the number of poor and suffering people would shorten as the years go on, because we chose to make a difference. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
