Praying for Saudi Arabia and for the poor – 23 Mar 2009

Praying for Saudi Arabia and for the poor – 23 Mar 2009

1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory is His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Father we lift up the nation of Saudi Arabia to You right now. Thank you for the undeniable things that have taken place in this nation. We pray right now that You would open the eyes of the blind, open the hearts of the stubborn, and may the Lord’s simplicity humble those that are confused.

We pray right now that the gift of humility and love would be poured on this nation. There is no one beyond Your love Lord, and we pray right now that we would be able to establish the Lord’s love in this nation.

Lord, You are shaking this nation for a reason. Politically, socially, economically, and fundamentally. Right now, we pray that the Lord’s foundations and principles will be established. We long for the day when Saudi Arabia will be used as a nation that sets the example. A model of society, a model of strong family values, a model to the world. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray for the poor people of this world. We focus our prayers today on blessing them.

Father, we pray against those that judge, persecute, condemn, and abuse the poor. We pray that the Lord’s justice and righteousness will be established.

We pray that You would bless the poor by pouring out Your overflowing blessings. We pray that You would plant seeds in every person in poverty right now. May they begin to see their value in You. The world may judge and condemn, but everyone has value in You Lord.

Today, we pray that our prayers would be a blessing to the poor. We pray that our prayers would be like a sweet aroma in your presence. Thank You for all that will take place. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
