Prayers for the youth and marriages – 18 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Father, we thank you for every child created today. Help us to realize our value and worth. We are all children of God, and we must treat people with respect. Father, we pray right now for those children who have suffered. Abuse from parents, from people, and broken relationships with people. We pray that You would bring restoration and healing. Lord Jesus, we need You every day. Today, we pray that our hearts would be healed and set free from issues that have held us back from fully loving You. We pray that the Lord would guide every marriage right now. Lord, we pray that we would not strive to do things on our own, by our own strength. Help us realise we are useless without You. Father, we pray that every marriage would be focused and built on You. We pray that couples would be quick to forgive, quick to talk, and they would not have room to allow the enemy to destroy their marriage. We pray that couples would be able to withstand the trials of life. Do not give up. Do not fall short. Give your all and keep declaring the blessings and promises of your marriage. In Jesus name, amen.
