Prayers for the youth and marriages – 17 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Father, we pray for our youth today. We pray that they would be able to understand the meaning of worship. Father, it saddens my heart to see children in Sunday School, bored, distracted, and not taking You seriously. Father, we pray that You would teach us how to guide our children. Help them recognise the importance in worshiping God. Understanding the lyrics. Understanding the importance in prayer. Today, we pray that we would be able to lay strong foundations in our children. Help us and guide us Father. We need you everyday! In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, we pray that we would be good examples to our children. In order to pass on solid foundations to our children, we too must be models of Christ. Father, forgive us. Help us to strengthen our weak foundations. Whether it is sin, or lack of discipline, or lack of character. We pray that You would give us the strength and endurance to work on our issues. Father, we pray that couples would spend time with their spouse today. Worship God together. Be able to enjoy each others company and smile. Be excited! In Jesus name we pray, amen.
