Prayers for the youth and marriages – 3 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Lord, we pray that You would bring healing and restoration for the youth. Lord, we pray that Your grace and mercy would set our youths free from the sins of this world. Lord, You have given us Your Son who died on the cross for us to set us free. We pray that we would never take this lightly and for granted. We pray against temptation and we pray for hearts that are strong in conviction. Help us not to waver. We pray that our youths would stand firm and strong. Whatever the enemy may throw at them, they will not be shaken. Lord, today is the day! We praise and honour You for all that is going to take place in the years to come, because our children today choose You over the pleasures of this world. Father, we thank Your for every single person who is faithful and dedicated to working on their marriage. We pray that You would bless them. Bless them in ways that will bring refreshing to dry bones, dry spirits, and saddened hearts. Lord, we pray that the spirit of joy would fall on us today. Especially to those faithful ones who have never given up on their spouse, on their marriage, and on their children. The very fact that you choose to stay faithful, your children, your children’s children, will be blessed because of this. Father, we pray that You would bring healing and restoration for every single person born into a divorced family. You are our healer. Father, today we are set free from this curse. We thank you that You reign and rule. We pray that our children too would be blessed. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
