Prayers for the youth and marriages – 20 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Thank you Father for the light that shines and never fails to lead and guide our youth. Father, we pray that Your mercy and love would guide our children. We pray that You would be our shepherd. Father, we pray that our children would always rely on You. We pray that they would not grow further away from You. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that Your light would always shine on our children. We look forward to the years ahead because of what You are going to do. Father, we pray for every marriage right now. Thank you for their commitment. We pray that You would bless every couple and every spouse that have gone the extra mile in saving their marriage. Today the Lord wants to bless and protect. Today, the Lord wants to use your marriage to be a light to those that are struggling. Father, we pray that You would break every heart. Help them fall to their knees and realise the sin and pain they are causing towards their spouse and children. In Jesus name we pray, amen
