Prayers for the youth and marriages – 8 Mar 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father we pray right now that You would pour on every youth and child, the gift of discipline and obedience. Lord, we pray that our children would be able to obtain a balanced life. Knowing when enough is enough. Knowing when to stop, avoid, and cut-off friendships that lead to destruction. We pray right now that we would be able to declare the promises and will of God that are of more value and importance in life than video games, computer games, and fake relationships. We pray that parents would take an active step forward in boldness to discipline their children. The Lord disciplines those He loves. We must follow Christ as our example. Father, we pray for every marriage right now. Thank you Father for every couple that is finding it difficult right now to bear children. Lord, we pray that You would begin to open our eyes and to hear Your voice as to why this is. Father, You are in control and You have a reason. Today, we pray that You would reveal to couples sin issues. Reveal unresolved issues, unforgiveness, and things that are not pleasing in Your sight. Maybe the Lord is doing this for a reason. God is protecting your future generations. If God is in control, then let us be obedient to bring closure to issues that have been unresolved. God will speak clearing, if we seek Him. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
