Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 24 Jan 2009

Let God define love in your life – There is love in obedience How can we ever understand the meaning of love defined by God, if we cannot obey Him? We all know that importance in obedience to God, and to follow all His laws and commands. However, do we follow just because it says so? Or do we really obey out of love? Daniel 9:4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with all who love Him and obey His commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from Your commands and laws.” I believe that God wants us all to have more than a surface level relationship with God today. To understand the meaning of love defined by God, it is worth so much. I wish people could understand why we are nothing without God. Which is why, there is love in obedience. Today, I hope that we would all desire obedience in our lives towards God. You know what is amazing about our God?
