Prayers for the youth and marriages – 24 Jan 2009 1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.

Father, today we pray for all the youth and precious children that You know by name. We pray that our youth would always walk in obedience to You. Father I sense that many have lost the meaning of love today. Lord, for every child that does not know love, that has lost the meaning of love, we pray that You would bring absolute peace and restoration of the heart. Father, no child deserves to be robbed from the Father’s love. You O Lord, are all we need. Father, we pray that Your guiding light and hand would always be with our children. We pray that they would desire You. We pray that they would work on strengthening their relationship with You. God, we pray that the right foundations will be built today. We pray for every single marriage right now. Lord, we pray that husbands and wives would continue to build and work on loving each other deeply. Father, we pray against offence today. The tongue is a powerful weapon, and we pray that You would humble and bind every mouth that puts down and condemns. Father, we pray right now that marriages in this world would be strengthened by love that comes from the Lord. Father, we pray that You would shake and awaken dead bones right now. Father, open our eyes that we may see. Open our hearts that we may receive. Open our souls so that we can fully surrender our lives to You. Father, we pray that marriages would be built on the right foundations today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
