Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 18 Jan 2009

Navigating through the course of life – Be wise As we let God lead and navigate, there is a potential for us to become complacent and take it easy. As we conclude this series, God’s words are clear. Be wise! James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Satan is always lurking around trying to claim our lives to sin. Those that are navigated by God do not easily fall prey to sin because of wisdom and humility that comes from heaven. It is out of humility, out of wisdom, that comes from the Lord that allows us to recognize that we are living in sin. James 3:16-18 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. So as we end this series, let us pray that God’s wisdom would fall on us to lead and direct our steps forward. As God leads, it is easier to submit to Him, to recognize our sins, and what areas in our lives we need to clean. Is it hard for us to submit to God?
