Let God define love in your life – Time to get off the “fake-train” 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. God’s written Word is clear. Whoever does not love does not know Him. Right now, are there people in your life that you hate? Are there people that you don’t like? Look down on? Judge? Condemn? Are we faking love? This is what I mean by the fake train. We pretend to love others, when deep down we hate. 1 John 4:19 says, “We love because He first loved us.” How can we claim to have a personal relationship with God, if we cannot love? God loves us all despite our unpure lives. 1 John 4:20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. God’s Words are simple and clear. We cannot love God if we cannot love others. In fact, if we live in hate, we don’t know God at all! Even though we may claim to love God. God is going to pierce many hearts right now, including my heart. It is time we get off “the fake train.” Are we not tired of the “drama-ness” in life? God has so much in store for all of us, yet we can never attain it because we simply cannot love.
