Prayers for the youth and marriages – 5 Jan 2009

Father, right now we pray that You would teach us, and we would obey. We pray that the youth of this generation and those to come will be grounded and built upon a solid foundation. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be the centre, core, and focal point. Father, we pray that our youths will be transformed today. We pray for the gift of discernment. We pray that at a very young age our children will be able to distinguish what is rotten, what is evil, corruption, sin, and will stay far away for these. We pray that our children will grow to become men and women who will make a difference. We pray that they would walk in the centre of God’s will. Father, as You lead, we pray that You will always protect them, even those who have been sold. In Your name we thank You, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Lord, we thank you that at the centre of every marriage it is founded and grounded on the Lord Jesus Christ. For any marriage right now that is not, we pray for them, that they will find Jesus today. Father, we pray that You would place a burden on our hearts to value and place our families with a strong sense of priority and purpose. You come first, but our careers should never come first. If we have neglected time with our children, or with our wife/husband, convict us right now O Lord. Father, families are the vital component to see this world changed. Not governments, not politicians, not money, or power. As we pray for families, we pray that the right values will be instilled. Help us Lord. Help us make a difference in this world today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
