Prayers for the youth and marriages – 23 Jan 2009 Deuteronomy 11:1 Love the Lord your God and keep His requirements, His decrees, His laws and His commands always.

Father, we pray for our youth. We pray that the Lord’s light would shine on them. By the blood and power of Jesus, we thank you that You have a mighty and great purpose for our children. O Lord, where we have been blind. Where we have been foolish, we ask for your forgiveness. Help us to hold fast to the commands, decrees, and laws. We do so because we Love you and place You high above the earth. In the name of Jesus we pray that our children would always run to You first O Lord. May this be a mark on the next generation, that they are hungry and thirsty for the Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

In the name of Jesus we pray for all marriages right now. We pray for couples that are living together and yet have not made their vows. O Lord, we pray for conviction right now. We pray that the Lord’s moral compass would be planted and ingrained in our hearts. We pray for the gift of discernment. Help us to distinguish what is righteous from the unrighteous. Remove the scales that blind us. Remove the planks that block our vision. Father, we pray that couples and every marriage right now would not complicate. We pray that we would not complicate the Lord’s commands. Help us O God to obey You always. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
