Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 13 Jan 2009

Navigating through the course of life Time. In 2009 we will have exactly 177,672 hrs. However, we have already used up 312 hrs. As we continue our series on navigating through life, it is vital and important that we address the issue of time. Everyone’s time is precious. Some people have the ability to maximise there time efficiently and effectively. However, many waste their time. The most common excuses I hear from people young and old are: “It is ok, I’m still young.” “Why worry about tomorrow.” “God will tell me what to do later on, maybe now is not the time.” “Don’t talk about it! I don’t want to think about it.” “God hates me, that is why I’m suffering.” We only have 24 hours in one day, or as I like to put it, exactly 86,400 seconds in one day. It is already 13 Jan. 09, and we only have 177,360 hrs left to make a difference in 2009. How many people will continue living their lives the way they want it? How many will use their time to the fullest for God by allowing God to navigate, direct, and lead? As we navigate though life, what are you praying for? What do you desire from God? Maybe it is time to surrender everything. Even our desires, so that God can navigate the course ahead.
