Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 3 Jan 2009
Ezekiel 34:4 You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.
Father, as we pray for every nation right now and for the poor, we pray right now that this verse in Ezekiel 34:4 would be a prophetic command to us in this generation. Let this word be our prayer in 2009.
Help us father. Help us to care for the poor, the weak, the hungry, the sick, the injured, and the lost. Father, we pray that 2009 would be a year of change. We pray that the clouds that cover our eyes would be removed. Let Your light shine through every nation. Lead the way O God. Lead and direct our steps forward.
In the name of Jesus we pray that You would define the meaning of top priority right now in every nation. It seems that individualism has taken reign. However, right now we pray that selflessness would take top priority. We pray that nations would be changed and transformed today because of selflessness. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
