Prayers for the youth and marriages – 26 Jan 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

We pray that our youth would hold firmly to the promises and laws. Father, we pray that our children would not care what people think of them. We pray that they would always walk in a quiet confidence in You, knowing that they have been made and defined by You. We pray for security today. We pray that our youth would recognize the value in being made in You. We pray that they would hold firmly to the unique purpose and plans that You have given them. Lord, it is easy to fight this world. It is easy to be selfish. It is easy to not care. However, it is never easy to be a son or daughter of God. Today, we pray that our children would begin to value what it means to be called a child of God. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father, we pray for every marriage right now. We thank you for every marriage that has been made right in Your sight. We pray that these couples would continue to fight for their marriages. We pray that every marriage would continue to strengthen their love and bond. We pray that by the Lord’s grace and mercy, not a single marriage would be fluttered and blown away at the gushing storms of life. Father, we pray that every marriage would be made strong in You. We pray that couples would be able to stand strong during the storms, the trials, and the uncertainties. God You are always with us. Thank you for everything. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
