Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 Jan 2009

In this world but not bound to it As we conclude this series on being in this world but not bound to it, I hope that we would be challenged by God to step up our level of intimacy with Him. It is a constant and daily remaindered that we are in this world but not of it. To be bound to God is absolute peace. We wouldn’t have to compare ourselves to others. We would be able to find rest even in the mist of an economic recession. We would be able to hear God’s voice at the point of need. Nothing is too difficult and impossible for our God. As we face our future in front of us, we have the option to fix and change our relationship with God. Right now if you feel that your relationship is dry it is time we recognize what we are bound to other than God. The moment we have found these things, we need to surrender them powerless to God. The challenges in life are tough and sometimes it is difficult to get rid of the things that we are bound to, of this world. God is knocking at our doors right now, are we going to let Him in? Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear?
