Prayers for the youth and marriages – 20 Jan 2009 Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Lord we pray right now that the Lords wisdom and discipline would fall on every single youth. We pray for spiritual maturity to take place right now. Speak directly into our hearts so that we may know what areas in our lives are filled with trash that needs to be taken out. We pray that our youths would not fight over small things in life, but they would focus on what is important to You. Lord You come first, help us remember that always. O Lord, we pray right now that husbands and wives would stand firmly on the Lord’s wisdom and discipline. Lord, many couples walk into marriage carrying their past. Carrying the garbage from the past. However, we pray that many would turn to You for healing and forgiveness. Lord, we pray that Your grace and mercy would pierce our hearts. We pray that we would desire discipline even in marriage. Guard our hearts against pride and arrogance. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
