Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 17 Jan 2009 Psalm 22:26-28 The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the Lord will praise him – may your hearts live forever! All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

#102 Kenya Lord right now, we pray for the nation of Kenya. We pray that You would open the doors and pave the way so clearly for us all to recognize that the world needs to unite together to help this nation. Millions are suffering right now as we pray. Suffering from starvation, illnesses, diseases, malnutrition, poverty, the list goes on and on. Lord, You have a purpose for this nation. We declare these promises right now. You have made this nation for a reason. You have a specific plan for this nation. Right now we pray that righteous men and women would be raised up to lead this nation. We pray for massive restructuring to take place. It starts with families, and it floods all the way to those on top with power. Lord, thank you for this nation. Lord, as Your glory and power shines, we pray for the suffering in Kenya, but we also lift up the many poor people all over the world. Thank you Lord for giving us the strength to pray for the poor everyday. Lord, help us to hear Your voice. We pray that You would unite the right people at the right time. We pray that the planning process to help bring aid, to help the poor, and to rebuild nations upon godly foundations would be quick and urgent. Lord, every minute and hour we delay, more and more will die. For those that are actually making a difference. We lift these people to You. Bless their work, bless their lives, and protect them. For those that continue to exploit, persecute, and harm. We pray that You would pierce their hearts right now. May they fall to the ground, humbled, submitted to You. No other God is greater and higher than You. You O Lord, are in control. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
