Prayers for the youth and marriages – 16 Jan 2009

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 16 Jan 2009

Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character, and character, hope.

We claim the Lord’s blessings on every child right now. We pray that our youth would continue to search for what is honest, pure, and holy.

Father, we pray that our youth would walk in obedience to You, to their parents, and to others. Lord, we pray that the meaning of respect would be deeply rooted in the hearts of our children.

O Lord, we pray that righteous generations would be birthed right now, walking in honesty and love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord, we pray that parents would learn to nurture and instill Godly principles in their children.

Father, the weight of responsibility is heavy as a parent. However, with the Lord leading and navigating, the weight is lifted off our shoulders. In the name of Jesus we pray for marriages that will be grounded and founded in building their families, versus chasing after false dreams that lead to destruction.

God we pray against the destruction of families. Lord, we pray that You would be the foundation of every marriage. Guide and lead us Father. In Your name we pray, amen.
