Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 15 Jan 2009 Psalm 22:26-28 The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the Lord will praise him – may your hearts live forever! All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

#100 Jordan Father, thank you for the nation of Jordan. Lord we thank you for the roots and foundations of this nation. We pray that You would strengthen and build on these foundations. We pray that your people would continue to build on the current foundations. May they find strength and security in You O Lord. But more importantly, we pray that a generation of righteous men and women would be raised. We pray that they will be used to make an impact for this nation. Father, we know that You are going to use Jordan and its history to reveal Your glory and power. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Lord, we pray that the poor would begin to call on Your name right now. We pray that they would be sheltered, protected, and cared for right now. Father, many may fall, many may suffer; however, the price that You paid on the cross paid it all. We pray that all of Your children that are suffering would be able to find You. You are all we need. Father, help us draw closer to You. In Your grace and in your mercy, we pray that we would be able to hear Your voice clearly. Help instill in us a passion and desire to see the world changed, especially for the poor and marginalized. May our prayers be heard today, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
