Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 12 Jan 2009 Psalm 22:26-28 The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the Lord will praise him – may your hearts live forever! All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

# 97 Italy Lord, we thank you for the nation of Italy and its people. Lord, as we pray for this nation, I sense that You have a great and mighty plan that is going to take place through this nation, especially during times of trials and tribulations. Father, we pray right now that You would challenge this nation and its people beyond their current state. Father, I sense that many of your children are comfortable where they are at, and they do not know their full potential. We pray that you would bless this nation and its people. Let them see and recognize that they have a great calling. A great purpose, and a reason for living. Lord, let the youth of this nation recognize that they are more then capable. As nations face trials, struggles, war, peace, darkness, and light, we pray that through every season, you would raise a steadfast generation who will not waver and shake down the very foundations and pillars of prayers for the poor. Despite the seasons of life, we pray that we would never forget and neglect providing effective solutions for the poor. Lord, the hearts of the poor come in mixed bags. Some are honest and pure, while others are simply lazy. Lord, whatever the case maybe, we pray that today, a righteous solution will take place to help the poor. Father, change our hearts. Mold us and help us tune our hearts to Yours. Help us to know what You are crying and hurting for. Lord, help us love the way You love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
