Prayers for the youth and marriages – 22 Jan 2009 Proverbs 15:10 Stern discipline awaits him who leaves the path; he who hates correction will die.

Father, we thank you for every youth. Today, we pray that You would give us all the heart and compassion to keep pressing on, and praying for our youth. Lord, we pray today that You would make our hearts burn with passion to protect and care for our youth. There are many that want to persecute, harm, and corrupt our youth. Today, we declare the devils plans powerless against the Lord. Father, we pray that our youths would stand for discipline. We pray that they would not be stubborn and unrelenting to correction. Father, we pray for obedience and humility. In the name of Jesus, You reign always. Amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

In the name of Jesus we thank You for every single marriage. We lift up every marriage right now, especially those that are at the brink of breaking. The Lord’s encouragement right now is to stand firm and to hold on to the promises that God has given. The Lord insists on our discipline. The Lord desires our obedience. Father, we pray for those that are struggling to build and hold on to their relationship with You. Lord, may proverbs 15:10 be our wake up call. Lord, we pray that we would be disciplined in faithfully praying and reading the Word. God, we pray that marriages would be strengthened and built strongly on the Word of God. Amen.
