Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 12 Jan 2009

Navigating through the course of life

The navigation of life is never easy. The intellectual, rich and powerful always seem to have everything in control. But some things in life are just simply out of human ability, capability, and control.

As I begin a new series titled: Navigating through the course of life. I know for a fact that God is going to make things simple enough to understand, so that we can allow God to navigate our lives. God wants to encourage us to be a light to those that do not have God navigating their lives.

Where there are no storms in life, it is easy to have everything in control. It is easy to forget God. However, there are things that occur in life that we have absolutely no control of. On 26 December 2004, the Asian Tsunami took the lives of more than 225,000 people. It affected 15 Nations and displaced more than 1.7 million people from their homes. It is at these times, that money, power, success, careers, material gain, and even our destiny’s have no control and power to prevent and protect.

We may try to prevent bad situations from happening. So we take the necessary action in OUR OWN HUMAN ABILITY AND CAPABILITIES. Right now God is knocking at our doors and saying to every heart, when are you going to stop! How long is it going to take for you to turn towards God?

I find it funny how the world laughs at those that have a relationship with God. Let them laugh. The day of the unknown will reveal those that really know Him and those that don’t.

I am excited for this new series, and I pray that you too would be excited.

Isaiah 33:21-22 There the Lord will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is He who will save us.
